A dynamic member of the NBC 6 Today morning team, Kristin does more than just recite traffic drive-times. She is a strong visual storyteller who can effectively deliver the critical traffic information needed to navigate the morning commute. As the Traffic Anchor, Kristin successfully interacts on-air with the morning anchor team, handles breaking news with ease and actively engages with viewers on social media.

Kristin is an experienced weekday reporter. She is focused on bringing the most engaging content to web, mobile and over-the-top broadcasting to audiences. From general assignment to breaking news reporting, Kristin has made her mark in Broadcasting and Digital Media. She has a great personality, strong storytelling skills, energy and creativity to do compelling live shots.

Hand her a mic and she's right at home! Kristin has become one of the most sought-after speakers, moderators, and emcees in the industry. Her dynamic presence and ability to keep audiences engaged and excited sets her apart as a keynote speaker for both large and small venues. Whether she is speaking in a packed mega theatre or moderating in a more intimate room setting, Kristin is able to simultaneously connect with and inspire every type of audience.

Meet Kristin Sanchez
Kristin Sanchez prides herself on her intentionality in everything she does personally and professionally from start to finish. Right now she is a South Florida TV personality. Weekdays, she can be seen on NBC6 Today from 4:30 AM to 7 AM as the morning News and Traffic Anchor. When she's not on air, she's emceeing and hosting local charity events and galas.
With a career in media for nearly 10 years, it's Kristin's choice to continue her passion for broadcast in Miami. Kristin's experience shines when reporting on breaking news whether it's from the news desk, traffic center or from the field. She is a triple threat in broadcast as she can report live on location, traffic from the chroma key or anchor from the news desk.
Most recently, Kristin reported on the ground from Fort Myers after powerful Hurricane Ian destroyed southwest Florida. Her reporting was seen nationally as millions of people watched to learn about the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since the 1935.
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Kristin's career has taken her through most major cities in Florida. Miami is now where she calls home at NBC Universal Local station, WTVJ.
