As the Traffic Anchor, Kristin successfully interacts on-air with the morning anchor team, handles breaking news with ease and actively engages with viewers on social media.

Meet Kristin Sanchez
Kristin Sanchez prides herself on her intentionality in everything she does personally and professionally from start to finish. Right now she is a South Florida TV personality. Weekdays, she can be seen on NBC6 Today from 4:30 AM to 7 AM as the morning News and Traffic Anchor. When she's not on air, she's emceeing and hosting local charity events and galas.
With a career in media for nearly 10 years, it's Kristin's choice to continue her passion for broadcast in Miami. Kristin's experience shines when reporting on breaking news whether it's from the news desk, traffic center or from the field. She is a triple threat in broadcast as she can report live on location, traffic from the chroma key or anchor from the news desk.
Most recently, Kristin reported on the ground from Fort Myers after powerful Hurricane Ian destroyed southwest Florida. Her reporting was seen nationally as millions of people watched to learn about the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since the 1935.
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Kristin's career has taken her through most major cities in Florida. Miami is now where she calls home at NBC Universal Local station, WTVJ.
